Intro • In America there seems to be a major problem. It has hindered this country since America was founded. It has been used against the Native Americans, Japanese, and African Americans. The problem is racism. What is Race? • Many people view race as different cultures and characteristics of the certain people in that culture. This is argued b/c any one group of individuals can look like another group. God did not create the world to be divided into different races, but rather one raced called the human race. Slavery • In the later half of the 17th century clear differences existed in the treatment of black and white servants.
