There are no laws that enforce employers to know your status. The right to labor relations states that no employee shall be dismissed from work because of his/her HIV status. Another of the important rights is the right of access to health care that is there are some workers who are not able to afford medical aid and these should not be refused membership of any medical aid fund on the basis of their HIV status.
