The new natural resources, the fast growth rate and the imports and exports gave Canada an amazing boost in its economy but this did not prove to be a golden age. ... Evidently, this is not all that is needed to constitute a golden age since there also needs to be great peace and happiness which was nowhere to be found at this time.
