For Stabucks. being the biggest coffee franchise in the world does not end the slew of problems that face regular companies, but only magnifies it. Their worldwide recognition brings for them great wealth, but also great responsibility, and many problematic issues to follow. In the last year alone, they have dealt with activist, economic chrisist, problems overseas, taxing, and even seemingly petty issues such as not being able to make a decent food product. One thing is for sure however, the largest coffee franchise in the world means that they have dealt with problems before and they can handle this. Starbucks Corporation is almost at the end of another food experiment gone wrong. Managers in the food-service industry are saying it is due to lack of expertise, distribution, execution, and training. Prior attempts include Cafe Starbucks, which included sandwhiches and salads, but instead of the idea growing, merely half of the original Cafe Starbucks remain.
