societys rules

Part 3 When looking at sexism as a reoccurring problem in the United States several perspectives can be taken to describe the causes. Examine how sexism is looked at today: women and men are now treated almost equally, women can serve in political offices and work in the business environment. Sexism is not as big of an issue in certain cases as it was fifty years ago. In previous years women could not hold a full time job, vote or even wear certain clothing. They were expected to stay at home to raise the children, cook, and clean for their husbands who would bring home “bacon”.
