Telivision in the U.S.
One might not expect that the everyday shows and movies they see on television affect them. Think about it. If you took a small child and never limited the exposure they had to the television, or the channels they were allowed to watch how do you suppose that child would act and think? Would they be violent? Would they use foul language? Would they think its okay to use drugs? They would most likely pick up on something that wouldn’t be considered acceptable for someone of a young age. Entertainment does seem to have an enormous influence on society. One major influence that entertainment has on people is with violence. There are numerous movies, television shows, and video games that contain a plethora of violence. This violence is rubbing off on the adolescence of today’s world.
