Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre has many different settings which most of them are of Gothic architecture. For instance as Jane is shown around the third floor she describes the rooms as “Dark and low, were interesting from their air of antiquity. ... Jane says the staircase windows are “High and latticed”(Page 58). Jane says “Thornfield: its old tower-top looked over a knoll between the house and the gate. ... A lot of the descriptive sounds in Jane Eyre can also be associated with Gothicism.
