... The present social services that are offered to the citizens of Los Angeles County are facing both major political and social, that are in a state of chaos as many years before. In attempting to understand the lack and demand of social services, a citizen must understand the role of which these services are directly provided. The state government is directly responsible for the majority of social services offered in Los Angeles County. With the current right wing election of new governor elect Arnold into the current chaotic state government scene, it is to no surprise that the social services are in immediate danger with the current budget cuts that the “Anti-immigrant” immigrant is establishing on the budget agenda in order to balance the state. Politics is the main artery in which these social services derive which reflects the demands of the communities. The current racist legislation politics, usage of services in public space, and the function in which these social services are applied are the crucial elements for these services to thrive and to succeed in accomplishing the social necessities in communities throughout Los Angeles.
The social services focused on are general services that our research indicated. There is a lack or demand of these services in certain communities of Los Angeles in which they are non-existent, insufficient, or unapplied.
