Noises Off
Noises Off As we watched the movie, Noises Off, I begin to realize how an actor needs to have two different personalities while performing in a play. Like the Greeks in their time, the actors of today should have a distinct personality while they are acting and portray the character at best, instead of bringing their own personal lives into the play. What I mean by this is if an actor brings to the theater something going on in the actor’s own personal life, it could become a disaster on the stage and for the audience. Dating back to the Greek’s plays, each and ever actor would wear masks. Some actors would wear two different masks if they had more then one role in the play. While wearing the mask, the mask served several different purposes. For example, the masks not only amplified the voice, but they also served to indicate the character.
