Screaming line drives, homeruns, diving catches---all of these are the fun and excitement experienced at little league baseball games. Little League games are fun to play in, but as I have learned, I don’t always play up to my maximum caliber. The team I played on in Little League was the Yankees. We were the best team in the American League with a record of 13 wins and one loss. This record was good enough to put us in the City Championship, and we slipped by some outstanding teams to get there. Some of the teams we beat were the White Sox, Twins, and Rangers. We were expected to out muscle the Giants, which was our rival opponent from the National League. Our team had made a risky bet with my dad.
