holocaust

Where are those boys? What's that noise? Shots ring out in the lot. Memories of the past are long forgot. I hear people screaming their lungs out While all the Nazis are laughing about. They torment us and harass us; The blood on the ground smells like rotten pus. I hear machine gun shells fall to the ground; All the Jews' bodies are lying around. That smell, it's burning flesh. Those Nazis think this year is the best. The head Nazi sends us to the shed; I think pretty soon we'll all be dead. As I walk, I pray to God and say, "O, Father, I hope this will all end some day." We enter the gas chamber and I think, "This is good-bye my friend," as I blink my last blink. I can smell it in the air; they've turned on the gas. I'd better breathe in deep because this might be my last. This has been a good life except for these past few years- That's what I said when I shed my final tears. I hear the Nazis' footsteps: They're at the back door. It scares me Because I know what they're here for. They want to take us away; They want us to die. My mother, beside me, Silently begins to cry. I want to run; I want to run away, But the Nazi soldiers block each passageway. They order us outside And into a waiting car. The concentration camp Is not very far.
