The purpose is to ensure philanthropic dollars are invested wisely and used efficiently and provide grant makers with information on specific organizations as well as on drug policy-related projects. Common Sense regularly works in collaboration with others to draw attention to reform issues. Common Sense has created an email strategy group of individual who work in media issues, develops a common message in response to news stories and assists each other in ensuring that the reform message garners media attention regularly.
