The environmental scan we did for the Jamba Juice that is looking to open up soon provided some very good information. ... The age group of the surrounding area is right in the area of the group Jamba says that they mostly sell to. ... That is ok because the product that Jamba sells is usually not more than five dollars. ... With the combination of these two things that can mean a minor set back for Jamba. If another Jamba Juice were to be placed off campus then there would be a need for a strong marketing strategy to attempt to get students off campus and into the new Jamba Juice. ... Another strategy for stimulating customer interest for the off campus Jamba Juice would be to focus on a demographic outside of college students; maybe target parents and children…make it somewhat family oriented.
Nonetheless, a competitive analysis demonstrates that the customers at the new Jamba Juice would be powerful buyers due to the fact that there would be so few of them.
