They house many medical services ranging from adult mental health services, finance and support, institutional, emergency health, public health, adult and child health as well as food sources and animal care. ... People with low income or poor to no health care visit this agency in hopes of getting medical and mental help with any illness they might have. ... The agency that I visited is a long standing facility located in the heart of Orange County with many main purposes and performs many medical activities in hopes of dedicating to an environment that promotes achievement in general health. ... A brief history of the health care agency is that it is a walk-in clinic that offers small fees based on ability to pay. The agency has collaborated with the Social Services Agency, Temporary Assistance to Needy Family (TANF), and recipients through Cal WORKs Behavioral Health Services in order to offer the best quality possible. ... The agency has established many out- patient services that have been accessible in Orange County at clinics and school based sites to ensure public health. And every out-patient clinic is staffed by trained professionals in various health fields. The agencies main purpose is to provide quality health care in the forms of testing and treatment for low income households at either free or low cost rates. The Health Care agencies Mission statement is “To be a world class organization dedicated to creating and supporting an environment that promotes the achievement of optimal individual, family and community health”.
