Cell Phones and Driving

... Many Americans have turned to electronic inventions and the cell phone is one of these inventions. ... motorists have a cell phone in their vehicle. Recent estimates show that cell phone users spend 60% of their time on a cell phone while driving a vehicle. Drivers see people using cell phones in their cars every day as they make their commute to work. A cell phone should not be used while operating a motorized vehicle. Two main reasons are that using a cell phone while driving is dangerous to the driver, and it puts lives of other drivers at risk. While driving people need to use all of their motor skills to operate a vehicle. Everything they do that distracts the driver or causes him to pay less attention to the road is considered a hazard while driving. The cell phone is no exception to this rule.
