ABBA? Who are they? Do we adore them so? We might never know, but if you did not, then maybe you will change your mind! The newest addition to the Broadway scene, ¡°MAMMA MIA!¡° For some reason, Toronto has become the newest experimental base for Broadway musicals. In the past, Lion King, Grease, and Mamma Mia have thrilled audiences here and there before moving onto the ¡°big time¡±. Sometimes they take their casts, sometimes they don¡¯t. Sometimes big changes are made; sometimes everything is kept in tact. How, you ask? A musical about ABBA be anything but cheesy? Well, first of all, it¡¯s not a musical about ABBA. It¡¯s a musical with a heart-warming story that just happens to have ABBA as the soundtrack. Donna Sheridan (played by Kim Huffman) has raised her daughter Sophie (played by Anna Madgett) alone on a Greek Island where she¡¯s opened a hotel.
