1. I am for India. In India there are many different cultures in different parts of India. I come from west part of India called Gujarat. We are called ‘Gujarati’. We speak ‘Gujarati’ as our home language. Basically we all are lacto-vegetarian. We generally don’t eat any kind of meat, egg, or fish. Family Interactions: We are family oriented people. After marriage women generally live with husband’s family and parents. If there is more than one son, then parents live with any of their son or sometimes all brothers live in one house with their family. In my culture divorce is not common. We think marriage as life long commitment. Religion: By religion we are ‘Hindu’. We pray to many different forms of God. We believe in worshiping nature (sun, tree, wind etc.) also. Festivals and Holidays: India has many types of cultures hence many festivals and holidays. We celebrate Diwali (festival of lamps and light), Holi (festival of colors), Navratari (festival of dance) etc. Diwali is our main festival like Christmas.
