These new evidences suggest that it was the Portuguese nation that has discovered the mysterious land in the South, “Australia”. ... Those maps were plagiarized Portuguese maps, which had been plagiarized by the French. The French even mark, on the maps, the Portuguese territories with the Portuguese flag, thus indicating that the Portuguese had actually been there first. On the map, the one continent, which gives us supporting evidence, is called ‘Java la Grande’ which is actually Australia. ... Also, just off the coast of Western Australia, is an island. On that island, Portuguese cannons were discovered with the Portuguese symbol on them. There has also been a discovery of a Mahogany ship in the sand dunes in Western Australia. ... If we analyse the evidence for the pro-portuguese case, we would find that there is much evidence to prove that it isn’t a fake. Although there is a large amount of evidence supporting the Portuguese case, it is likely that the public would still believe in the ‘traditional view’ and not to accept other belief. ...
