In the past
I interviewed my father, on April 1st, asking him questions about his father. My grandpa was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1923. His name is Viktor ----------------. He attended and trained at a very prestigious military school in Vladivostok, Russia (my birth place). Many of his pals were pulled out and put on the front line. They were young guys of ages 18, of whom barely any survived. Fortunately, Viktor was not requested and sent off thus he finished school graduating in 1945, at the age of 22. This was at the time when World War II was coming to an end. My grandpa became the admiral for an eminent ship called Mateel.
