Animal research is for the most part cruel and inhumane. Animal rights activists have gathered large amounts of information resulting in the closure of the many laboratories in violation of anti-cruelty statutes. Animal rights activists feel that animal research is immoral and unethical. Many experiments done on animal specimens are replicated, which prompts activists to question the ethics of such testing.
