Well, this movie was certainly interesting… and fun to watch. How to bring it to bear on our discussion however? Here are some things to think about for this movie. 1. How common is Peter’s experience at work? That is, while we know that this movie is exaggerating to some extent –does it go to the heart of the modern work place? Are offices really as bad as that? 2. At one point Peter says: “Since I started working, every single day has been worse than the day before, so that every day you see me is the worst day of my life.” What does this say about the nature of work in modern society?
