The Wireless Application Protocol enables Internet access with a mobile phone and other mobile banking services. This newly developed technology for digital mobile networks and phones makes it possible to offer bank customer’s completely new forms of services. Banking on cell phones or other mobile devices were one of the most requested services from cell phone owners, according to a recent survey of 7,000 mobile-device users by IDC.
