old man and the sea and To kill a Mockingbird
Santiago in "The Old Man and the Sea," by Ernest Hemingway, and Jem and Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird," by harper Lee, all have distinct motives for their actions are important sharacters in those novels. In "The Old Man and the Sea," Santiago who is an important character, and shows his hard life. ... When he was young, he was a young man full of vigor, so he can get big fish, but is old now. ...
