The hard times for black African American women IIn the old days life was had for black African american people, especially women. Madam C.J Walker lived a strenuous life both in her early days of hard physical labor. (Madam C.J. Walker).She was smart for a black women back in those days. Slavery was just now being deceased in her life time. There are ups and dowms in your life, one will just have to overcome them to succeed. Sarh Breeedlove was born to former slaves on a plantation, for slaves on Dec. 23, 1867. Walker was the first member of her family to be born free. ( Corretta Scott King 19). Walker grew up as an ophraned so she was eager to get out and explore the world at fourteen.
