Using any form of decline in writing would automatically imply that there is a moving away or a decay of the societal situation in which it was written. When studying decline , one is “confronted by a luxurious jungle of metaphors, terms, traditions, patterns, designs, and human emotions” 3 that must be considered when attempting to analyze it as well. ...
