Cosmopolitan is geared more toward the older, more mature females. Cosmo Girl: well the name says it all, meaning that more of the younger females read it. Cosmopolitan and Cosmo Girl lure their readers with articles on celebrities, fashion, and males. The first difference is the articles found in these two magazines. Most of the articles found in Cosmopolitan are stories like the harsh break-ups the celebrities never actually go through. They don't really interview the celebrity they mostly just put as much dirty gossip as they hear.
