Subject of Sex in Robinson Crusoe

There are a lot of universal themes in Robinson Crusoe like colonialism, economy etc. but I‘ve chosen the subject of “sex” because I have realized that I should talk about the unmentioned themes that exist in the novel. Needless to say, Ive found it rather difficult to find a passage that declares ,so to speak, Robinsons ignorance for sex and the lack of sexuality in the book because Im discussing something that doesnt exist in the text itself. We all know that Robinson Crusoe did well when he first got into the island thinking about his food and water and a place to live in, but did it ever occur to the reader the fact that Crusoe never mentioned his desires for sex!
