... One of those subjects would be the legalization of marijuana. In my opinion, I don’t believe marijuana should be illegal because it can prove to be beneficial to our government, it can be made into a durable natural resource, and it may be used for medical purposes. The anti-marijuana groups argue that marijuana should never be made legal. They argue marijuana impairs your judgment and kills your brain cells. The American Medical Association (AMA) believes there is no hard-core evidence proving marijuana is an effective drug as medicine. In the past twenty years of research, the AMA produced no reliable scientific proof that marijuana has a medical value.
