Cummings entire collection of poems and development of an innovative poetic phraseology allowed him to be himself in his writings and share his heart with others. Several people have examined Cummings work and tried to figure out what he wrote. Many Cummings poems seem to be strewn together or have been in an accident, much less actually be a sentence. But sometimes it is hard to find meaning of a poem that does not clearly say anything close to a sentence. One of Cummings most know poems reads “l(a le affa lls)one l iness”.
