I believe that Verwoerd believed in self-determination for the white people of Africa while he thought that the black people did not deserve the opportunity of self-determination. I think that he thought that the black people did not need self-determination and believed that it would be bad for South Africa if the Bantu were given the opportunity of self-determination.
