Soldier
A soldier is not only one who walks through the murky grounds of an unknown territory,nor is he one to follow the strict commands of another. A soldier is nothing more than some human fighting to live his own life and does not require a role in the military. A soldier simply overcomes hardships, stresses, and challenges set before him by his daily living. In "A Soldier" by Robert Frost, human defects are powerfully appointed and readers are made more aware that they too are soldiers living through the battle of life. ... In a normal sonnet, the lines are typically medium in length, but in "A Soldier" the lines are each quite long. ... " which leads the reader to believe that the soldier is overlooked, unseen, and that his corpse is going through changes and deterioration.
