Nowadays, since same sex marriages are slowly becoming legal it is a serious concern on how the judges will decide who gets custody of the children in case of a divorce. ... Next, the question is whether and how the judges will change the property law when it comes to same sex marriages. ... Today, that is not the case anymore especially when it comes to same sex marriages since society’s traditional gender roles have changed through the fact that traditional marriage is changing as well.
