Calvinism Vs. Catholicism Jamie Belisle During the seventeenth century, many countries had entirely different views on how life was to be lived. Religion was the most important aspect, which controlled the society of the country. Varying by location in Europe, each country had its own religion, and thus each country had its own different society.
