What if the justice system of the United States of America actually performed its job in this time period as it did in the 1960s? ... The justice system was created to protect the innocent, but it seems to do just the opposite. Just think of how many criminals would not be able to walk free if the justice system carried out its duties of protection and guarantee.
According to the justice system in America, a criminal who harms another should get punished, and according to many Americans, that is a reasonable thing to do. However, the justice system contradicts itself in its’ next step of duty. The justice system carries the criminal to court, where the criminal is protected, by the system, while the victim is free but forced to relive the actions done by the alleged criminal. ... If the justice system carried out its duty, the alleged criminal would be suffering more than the victim and quickly be punished for his or her actions.
