The apparent differences between the North and the South, and of their corresponding beliefs, led the the Civil War. These sides were strongly influenced by people and propaganda prior to the war, leading them to be further against to the opposing side. As previously stated, these tensions were going to be pressing issues until resolved, and the Civil War seemed to be the only resolution.
