Prince George’s County’s primary goal is to revitalize the Inner Beltway communities located near the District of Columbia. The County has targeted three geographic areas in the north; US Route One Corridor, central; Landover Road 202 Corridor and south; Suitland Manor and Manchester Square. Prince George’s strategy to address the creation of affordable housing is to revitalize its aging housing stock primarily located within the Inner Beltway using CDBG and HOME funds to purchase and rehabilitate single-family and multi-family deteriorated properties.
