Hiroshima by John Hersey led me to see what it is like to be on the axis side of world war two. Being an American and having to read text books about world war two always made me proud that we won the world. I am no longer proud to be on the winning side of the war on the pacific coast. Not when we unleashed a monster on the innocent Japanese people. There is nothing to be proud of when people die especially innocent people. If you ask me, do I recommend this book? My answer would be yes.
