In Arthur Millers drama The Crucible, the character Abigail is vindictive. Abigail demonstrates that she is vindictive towards Elizabeth Proctor, Marry Warren, and John Proctor. Through Abigail’s effectuation she proves that she is a vindictive person. One of the people that Abby is revengeful to is Elizabeth proctor. Abby proves that she is revengeful when she drinks a charm to kill Elizabeth. Abby is doing this so she can get Elizabeth out of the way so she can marry John Proctor, Elizabeth's husband. John proctor had an affair with Abby and Abigail probably still thinks that John still loves her and probably wants to marry her. Another reason that Abby proves that she is relentless towards Elizabeth is when Abby wrongfully criminate her of being a witch.
