Gentiles wanted to become followers of the way because they loved God’s message proclaiming all people equal and by following the Golden Commandment, we could live in eternal peace. want to become followers message of church popular message is still alive want to join Jews and Gentiles and message os pop getn want to join what crisis is. There was much tension and discrimination between Jews and Gentiles. The Jews did not accept Gentiles. Gentiles were considered unclean because they did not follow the Jewish dietary laws and custom of circumcision. Gentiles heard God’ s message that heaven is here now if we follow the golden rule and that all people are equal in the eyes of God. In God’s eyes, even Jews and Gentiles, who were enemies at the time, were considered equal. Now Gentiles wanted to be followers of the way. ... They could not grasp the idea of how Gentiles, who did not follow the laws of diet and circumcision, could ever become followers of the way.
