The place of a woman is an important and highly debated issue. Some people feel that a woman’s place is being a good house wife, a wife that can clean, cook and take care of the kids. ... I personally feel that “a woman’s place’ is NOT in the home, but any place other than just the home A woman shouldn’t want to be restricted or confined to just the inside of a house, where she does the dishes, the ironing, the dusting, the cleaning and the cooking all day, every day. ... They actually see themselves as homemakers and simply would prefer to be at home on a daily basis. ... People in favour of women staying at home believe that they can bring up their children better, they can pave the way for a brighter future, bring them up to be good citizens of the community and that working mothers have a negative influence on their children. ... With the divorce rate being 60% and increasing everyday, the woman can’t afford to stay at home. ...
Women should be tired of being second best to men, tired of being told that their place is in the home, and tired of hearing this is a ‘man’s world’.
