The human condition is defined by a diversity of aspects morality, values, principals, and the never-ending need for love and acceptance. Love and acceptance interlace to become one unable for one to exist without the other, resulting in what most consider to be the most important factors of the human existence. Needlessly many confuse love with lust and ignore the principal rule of love. Love does not only surge from a life partner but also from those who we can call friends and family.
In Li-Young Lee’s poem “A Final Thing” the speaker discovers the importance of not only one perpetual love but the importance of the resounding love in a family.
