RE: Teaching post available with the Humanities department
Dear Mr. J. R. Child,
I would like to apply for the exciting opportunity of Humanities teacher at Queen Elizabeth’s High School. I am a dynamic successful classroom practitioner. During my PGCE I have gained invaluable experience, which I am keen to utilise at Queen Elizabeth’s High School.
I am currently undertaking the second placement of my PGCE year, at Salt Grammar School, Bradford. ... I have found my time on this course challenging and extremely rewarding. I have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching experience as it has surpassed any expectations that I had. Both the schools I have worked at are comprehensive city schools and I feel that this has given me invaluable experience, in terms of developing classroom management skills and the implementation of a wide use of different learning styles.
I am looking for a full-time role within the school teaching both Religious Education and English. I am confident and willing to teach these subjects across all age ranges. My specialist subject is Religious Education which I have taught from Key Stage three to Key Stage five, but I have also gained experience in teaching English at Key Stage three.
I am committed to raising the attainment of my pupils.
