In Dante’s Divine Comedy, there are different views or interpretations of each book. The comedy is a narrative of a journey that goes all the way through a universe which parts are shown by the level to which they are guided by the divine light. The three-part narrative imagines the soul deprived of God, in hope of God, and with God. Inferno, Purgatory, and Paradise, is separated into thirty-three cantos. Three is the perfect number since it represents the Holy Trinity: God of Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
