	Haggai was one of three prophets with Zechariah and Malachi being the other two wherein their ministry was during the period of Jewish history that began after the return from captivity in Babylon. Little is known of Haggai’s history. God sent Haggai to deliver messages to the Jews. When Darius took over after the defeat of the Babylonians, he decreed they could return home to reconstruct their Temple, which had been destroyed over 70 years earlier. ...
