Peter Singer’s “Animal Liberation,” did a good job pulling the reader in emotionally to care about animals, but at the same time did it by comparisons that were absurd. ... Since they are living things also, what gives us the rights as another race to infringe on the rights of others? He proposes that society changes their views about nonhumans and give them the rights they deserve. ...
