The Eagle and the Wolf
The eagle and the wolf is a contrast between two battles one might find inside himself.
“Everything the eagle stands for is good and true and beautiful, and it souars above the clouds. Even though it dips down into valleys, It lays its eggs on the mountain tops”
It seems what the author meant by that description is that the eagle stands for the good side of a person, good conscience if you will. The metaphorical eagle is the one who stands out in the sky as being capable of making good choices in life with disregard for others. The eagle is archetypal as being noble and just -qualities men often seek in life.
