Jib Fowles and Jack Solomon both wrote articles which refer to the ad analysis. In their point of view, there are types of emotional and psychological appeals that advertising makes to consumers such as Murray’s fifteen basic appeals which I used to analyze my magazine ad, and consumer desire and illusion. Both these authors agree that there are negative effects of advertising on the mind of the consumer.
