independent variable for the data was the gender of the person, while the dependent variable is the speed that the person typically drives at when they are on the highway. Each subject was asked about their typical speed in MPH when they are driving on the highway. Fifteen females and fifteen males were asked via a poll and personal interaction about their speed on the highway. Each subject was asked to give their answer based on their normal driving conditions and not under extreme occasions, such as when there is a lot of traffic. The alternative hypothesis for the data is that gender has an affect on how fast a person drive (H1: males females).
