The results show that the optimum temperature for the reaction to take place is 50°c. With the addition of Lead Nitrate the best results were gained with a temperature of 25°c. The results indicate that my initial thoughts which were, the higher the temperature the greater the rate of reaction were wrong. My table of results and graph show that without the addition of Lead Nitrate the optimum temperature for the release of oxygen bubbles was 50°c. I thought that the highest temperature that we tested at would give the best results.
