Abortion is the removal of a fetus from a mothers womb before her pregnancy is completely over. For thousands of years, people have debated whether abortion was right or wrong, and if it is right then what restrictions should there be? ... Wade in 1973 allowed a woman to have an abortion during the first three months (trimester) without being tested or questioned. During the second trimester, the government allowed states to regulate abortion in order to protect both the woman and the unborn.(Mezey) The United States Constitution implies the right of privacy and allows a woman to decide for herself if she will have an abortion (OBrien).
